The Lichfield Prize exhibition

My painting Sightlines I has been selected for the Lichfield Prize exhibition 'Shadows'. The exhibition is organised by the Emporium Gallery as part of Lichfield Festival and runs from the 1 - 10 July.

Responses in Colour at ArtwaveWest, Dorset.

Looking forward to the exhibition Responses in Colour starting at the ArtwaveWest Gallery in Dorset next week. I have 8 paintings in the show along side work by Rebecca McLynn, Jeanette Hayes, Louise McLary and Martin Goold. Please join us for the Preview evening on Friday 10th June 6 - 8pm. The exhibition runs until 14th July.

The Cold Press Gallery : new paintings

I am delighted to have been invited to show a series of new paintings at the Cold Press Gallery in Holt, Norfolk. The gallery, below, shows publications made in their intaglio printmaking studio and work by invited artists, alongside furniture and applied arts. The gallery is open Thursday to Saturday 10 - 3.30 or by appointment and the exhibition runs from 24 March to 30 April.

A Certain Language : Staithes Studios

Staithes Studios gallery in North Yorkshire begins 2016 with a new exhibition: 'A Certain Language' exploring abstraction through printmaking, painting and collage.
I'm pleased to have paintings from my Utopian series (as above) included. There is also work from Lauri Hopkins, Paulina Varregn and Laine Tompkinson. The gallery is open weekends 11 - 4pm, the exhibition runs until 30 February.

In the gallery now...

After months of work painting, drawing, thinking, procrastinating, having the flu, sanding and more painting my solo exhibition Travelling Light is now on at the Quercus Gallery in Bath! Thank you to Evie for curating and hanging the work so beautifully. The Private View was very busy and some paintings have already found new homes. The exhibition is on until Saturday 31st October which includes  The Bristol and Bath Art Weekender.
